The Reefer Man is a modern day Robin Hood. Okay, so he doesn’t rob the rich and give to the poor, but he does grow some killer weed. Bankruptcy lawyer by day, marijuana midwife by night, Charlie Kovacs is blessed and cursed with a green thumb. He explains, "I felt like my whole life I've been ashamed of what I love." This criminal comedy succeeds in being intelligent. Russell Bennett energetically portrays dozens of characters, earning him not only a standing ovation but also a shower of buds and joints. You don;t need to be high to enjoy this show, but it will make it even better.
